That often applies, but not always. In my particular case, it is precisely the good visibility in the rear area that causes people to climb over the fence at night and scribble on an outbuilding or throw stones at it. So: good visibility does not always deter, but also encourages. Matthias

How about a "Hausmeisterwohnung".

Well, there are two houses in the front area of the property, I live in one and my parents in the other. And looking ahead, I plan to build another one in the back area. Since there is also a house at the back of the neighboring property, this should also be possible according to §34. So there will always be more people living at the front. But they will not always be aware of everything happening at the back.

Then you will probably have to pursue multiple tracks.

With the full program you have planned and never let the house appear unoccupied. If your parents live in the front house, your absence will also not be as noticeable.

Strange priorities. Statistically, a burglary happens to you every 100 years. But the person who ventilates the house to prevent it from rotting is not considered? So at the very top of the list, I would put an automatic ventilation system. You also benefit from it when you are at home. Otherwise, it would be smart to inhabit the house or have it inhabited. Instead of a lawnmower robot, a gardener would be more appropriate.

Or not build at all, the state is responsible for high-security buildings.

I mean it seriously: anyone who suffers such fears and wants to equip themselves with a 2-meter high fence and other gimmicks should move to the 4th floor of an apartment building.
