In the apartment building, the person next to you can fall asleep with a cigarette at any time or the person above you can have a problem with their washing machine.

First and foremost, I have to protect my archive because that is my working basis, and none of the technical equipment must be damaged either.

This is not only my place of residence but also my place of business. The current house already meets my requirements for the most part; only a drainage shaft has to be pumped out after heavy rain.

So far, my parents have been doing a lot, but they are not getting any younger...

But controlled ventilation is standard nowadays anyway; are there still new buildings without it?

Digitize the archive and back it up redundantly?

What kind of technical device with which sensitivities? In my opinion, it has nothing to do with vandalism or common fraud. Devices can be insured and replaced, the archive (based on paper) can also be _really_ archived, i.e., not just stored somewhere in boxes, if it is that important

Everything is digital and duplicated anyway. Still, the rule is: I do not want any bad things to happen in my personal environment. That is why I appreciate being as prepared as possible. Especially since every attempted break-in causes high damage and costs. Not to mention the emotional damage.

For example, I do not like it when you look out the window in the morning and all the downpipes on the neighboring buildings are missing copper.

Private security service. High fences are more inviting than deterrent (that was once said by the police after a break-in).

Have you thought about a panic room in case the robbers come and you are in the house??

I am not thinking so much about serious crime, but rather about opportunistic offenders. I want to make it as difficult as possible for them. And the security service does not only receive the alerts from the system, but also has access to the video footage.

Ultimately, it is about as complete remote monitoring as possible.

And in my case, I maintain that: only after the hedge of the surrounding green area was trimmed did the graffiti begin.
