Does any user here have experience with Team Massivhaus?
I seem to recall that both and I have rated this provider as at least sufficient. But: I also already said where I would see the general contractor limit. And this project, secret as it may be, clearly lies beyond that.
In summary, I believe that the 350 sqm only came about because amateurs did not plan professionally and functionally here, and Tetris doesn’t work. Then the non-existent room program tends to swell disproportionately.
And exactly for this—also from my point of view highly likely—suspected case, I already said that a general contractor would shamelessly realize such a design (provided it was approvable and the client had the money bag with them) instead of responsibly talking the client out of it.
By the way, I will not link here the examples Yvonne mentioned, although my fans will rightly suspect that I recall them almost completely—at least the cases discussed here over the past four years. Yes, the hopelessly ingenious labyrinths share no other commonality than that they feature significantly above-average excess square meters, which at the same time are architectural empty calories.
But whoever does not show their plans here, I will not show them how many great master builders before them were also children of similar spirit ;-)
Oh wait, no, I can’t be that mean after all, at least I don’t want to leave the greatest master of this craft unnamed: literally understood textbook-wise to flank every piece of furniture with walls on at least two corners and to symmetrically balance the overall structure. And yet no general contractor incorporated it into their catalog—whether really only the vulture knows why?—I don’t believe that, but I’m also a heretic (at least in the Galilean sense).
