I do not know the private construction financing of our managing directors, but for corporate financing ([Loans, construction loans or overdraft facilities]) it is always stated in the contracts that financial statements or even quarterly reports must be provided.

As I said... I've never heard that and it's definitely not like that with us. After all, one part of the loan has been running for more than 2 years.

It was the same for me from 2001 to 2007. Interhyp had brokered the DSL Bank, they requested my last three annual financial statements and tax returns, and two weeks later I had the loan. I never heard anything from them again until the sale of the house and the early repayment of the loan. At least that was the case back then, maybe that has changed since then?

My bank requests this automatically every year, my case manager apologizes every time for the automatic email. Ultimately, it doesn't matter as long as the installments are paid. For me personally, the house financing and business account are with the same bank. That was not planned originally, but it turned out that way. So my case manager already knows anyway, because he can see my business account. Whether I then send him the detailed profit and loss calculation or not, or whether a sack of rice falls in China, it makes no difference.

They are not completely stupid when it comes to financing self-employed people either, , with your company there are probably (pure speculation on my part) queries/information that can be easily retrieved without asking you. That is not so easily the case with me, for example, because I do not appear in the commercial register or similar, at most the credit score is accessible.

Best regards

It is drifting further and further off here now, but the obligation to continuously provide these things usually arises from § 18 KWG.
