I would probably split the awning then. It only becomes twice as expensive because of the motor. In any case, I would definitely consider the issue of wind. Surely 6 meters doesn't make sense for you, I also spoke about ours and 6 meters was already ambitious. However, the slope is higher than at your place.

Yes, such a division might not be bad at all and worth considering, even the light gray is gaining sympathy, I did some image searching. I have less of a light problem and more of a space problem with pergolas and everything you build, the garden is 100 sqm (some will smile but in Munich you are a king with that). Therefore, I am a bit hesitant about such a frame.

Friends have something like that. At 12kn wind, it retracts by itself. The result is, it is almost always retracted.

hm, us too - you don't have to retract them even in a storm. My parents, on the other hand, had an awning that was always retracted at the slightest gust of wind...

Greetings Queen Scholz!
Google Pergola Vellum. It is available in 8m and is a light and stylish solution.

If the venetian blinds are divided, stable models can do without storm guards. The window front is probably not so exposed either. However, I do not see in the photo where the 8m are supposed to be...?
