But we're only talking about money that is not spent here, not what is saved. Q3 or 4 with tile wallpaper gimmicks and a nice coat of paint for 40k would not have been planned in the budget at all. I also don't see marble, granite, or solid wood floors here.

Yes, but in the post I quoted, 20,000 to 30,000 euros were allocated for that. Then you don’t need that.

Yes, of course. That is naturally frustrating for the OP, but you can only build what you can afford. I also wanted to show with the example that you can build for that price. However, these demands are just too big for his budget.

Yes, wait, we do not yet know the actual budget available to the thread creator.

Thank you very much for the helpful answers. Nevertheless, we are somewhat shocked by the prices. That would mean we would have to calculate with the following values, if I understood correctly:
[*]Land: €0 (since already available and fully developed) [*]House (excluding ancillary construction costs): 510,000 [*]Ancillary construction costs: €40,000 [*]Kitchen: €20,000 [*]Garage: €40,000 [*]Outdoor facilities: €25,000 [*]Total: 635,000
Recently, an acquaintance of mine who signed a very similar construction project with a local general contractor in April '22 showed me his cost plan, and he had budgeted €420,000 for the house without ancillary construction costs. Has there really been such a price increase in the meantime? I can hardly imagine that.

Did he then actually build at that price, or were there additional cost increases or upgrades? I would also recommend obtaining various offers, comparing services, and then deciding. If it gets tight, you just have to hold back on the upgrades.
