Architect Floor Plan Draft - Feedback and Critique Welcome

Hi,
here is a quickly thrown together counterproposal for discussion. The compass direction and garage were ignored, the dressing room was removed. My main focus was on the staircase and the attic. The kitchen can of course be completely open as well. The drawn knee wall is tiny, but better than none at all.





The problem is the bedroom next to the children's rooms and space for the wardrobes. The wall between child 1 and the bathroom can still be moved, so that perhaps there is also room for a sauna.

As such, a nice design with potential savings in the area. However, for us, an entrance on the north side is not an option.
So if you rotate the design so that the entrance is on the east side and swap dining and kitchen (because this is also desired), then you are back to almost the same ground floor layout.

We will now try a slight repositioning of the stairs.
What we are still considering is swapping child 2 with the office. Maybe the dressing room and office can then share some space. But this only on the condition that there is enough space for both children with a bathroom in the attic. But this is just a consideration so far.

Was the EG layout bad? I thought only the hallway and especially the DG were lousy? Otherwise, just rotating and mirroring would of course be easy. Unless the kitchen absolutely has to be in the south?

Yes, maybe the architect still has a few ideas. Definitely keep trying until it fits, I would say. :)

No, the ground floor structure was good. Kitchen in the south is desired, yes. We will report then ;)
