You would surely like to explain this statement in more detail?

Once plaster and paint or wall covering are finished and a timely handover is agreed, there is little room for creativity.

I hope you are not really error-free.

Which ones, for example?

Looking forward to it;-)

if that were the case, they wouldn’t constantly make shows about what went wrong here and there... and also this and similar forums would make less sense... many errors happen during the shell construction and much of it remains undetected until it is too late...

I never claimed that I work without mistakes...

But an additional (forgotten!) satellite socket is a minor issue... yes, it costs a workday and maybe 100 euros in material, but it’s doable, and since the handover hasn’t happened yet, all options are still open.

Possibilities? I already suggested the unicable system... it’s not ideal but better than the electrician’s solution... and there are further options... but one would need to know more first...

Wall/floor structure... type of satellite system, etc.

maybe a different LNB and an additional DiSEqC switch for 4.99 already solves it... just think about what could be done instead of: "Here you go... you didn’t order it, but leave me alone with it..."

Another option would be to set an IP box, but it requires a network.

Or if there is a connection on the other side, a priority switch would also be possible, but then only one receiver can be used at a time.

Unicable doesn’t help in this case because the cable has to be laid.

I don’t understand why you consider this so unimportant, probably because watching TV doesn’t matter to you?

I see it as a defect that needs to be fixed, even if it means the wall has to be opened again.

Unikabel works if you share the other cable from the other room...

Hello, unfortunately your proposed solutions don’t tell me much. Tapping into the cable of the neighboring room was actually suggested by the electrician today. He wants to meet with me to discuss further. I wouldn’t really prefer to use the network, since without the internet I could never watch TV and additional electronics would have to be purchased. And those break easily, need to be reset, etc. As a layperson, I would need a professional again and that costs. Both TVs should definitely be able to run at the same time. What actually speaks against the "Strom Lösung", the electrician swears by it (but maybe only because it’s easiest for him?).

Your fear that something can break with the power solution argues against it... and it will break...

Sending data over the power line is still okay in old buildings but absolutely not in new buildings...
