The relocation of the line for the door opener to the [Technikraum] is already correct. You will need to disconnect the network cable in the [Technikraum] and integrate the separate power supply of the door opener.

Well, it's not necessarily correct; most manufacturers assume that the openers are controlled directly by the door station. At best, they still have the option to control an RS485 connection to a remote relay (but an additional cable would be necessary for that).

Basically, it is better, of course, to have the door control separated from the door station, which gives you increased security. The downside is that you now have to couple the two components together.

I think the Metzler should also be able to control a network/web relay, you need to check the options (this is usually possible with Akuvox and Hikvision). If so, then you can simply use an IP relay in the technical room, which then receives the signal (usually a URL call, possibly with user/password if desired) from the door station via the network and activates the door openers.

That would mean that if the cable for the door opener is routed directly to the outdoor unit of the intercom system, another cable is still needed for the separate power supply of the door opener. Then + and - would be directly in the outdoor unit. It doesn't get any easier to get into the house. The whole thing is drawn a bit awkwardly.

Basically, I also asked myself this question since all signal controls run over the network anyway. So there should be a "command" that controls the network relay in the technical room. That would solve the problem. Unfortunately, Metzler cannot help here and such a module is not offered. The firmware is from Hikvision. The question is whether the relay from Hikvision (DS-PM1-O1L-WE) will also work here. Even if the cable to the outdoor station were laid, it still wouldn’t work because according to the specification the door station delivers max. 12V/500mA. The door strike requires 1-2A at 12V.

Since I have exactly the same problem (or rather, I am missing the control line from the outdoor station to the technical room), I would be glad if you could possibly report a solution. Thank you!

I unfortunately have no experience with Metzler, but the IP door station from Doorbird offers two ways to securely control the door contact from the inside: either via a relay contact on the indoor station, or via a separate I/O door controller installed in the technical room. For the aforementioned reasons, connecting the door contact directly to a switching relay of the outdoor station is not much of a hurdle for tech-savvy burglars.
