Are they at least allowed to choose the time when to start the toilet flush process, or does the software take over here as well?

*Tomato*

I tried it in the guest WC, but I will still have a switch (just not at the entrance). The towel warmer (electric) somehow needs to be switchable and the window can only be opened motorized.
I simply lack the appropriate sensors to control this reliably. Any tips?

We have no switches in the guest WC. The skylight turns on during the day if needed. In the evening and morning, the mirror light is added. At night, only dimmed light without the mirror. The towel radiator turns on after about 1-1.5 minutes of showering. That’s enough (thanks to 60 degrees supply temperature) for warm towels after showering. The controlled residential ventilation also switches off while showering (so the heat stays) and switches to maximum level after showering for fast air exchange. Everything turns off automatically again. Works perfectly. Some tinkering and experimenting was necessary though.

Just like with Steffen, it is quite elegantly solved.

I also don't see a problem with the light, that's easy.
Which sensor triggers the heating? An application sensor at the shower inlet? Which one?

The windows in the room can only be opened electrically. If a guest uses the toilet and feels the need to ventilate, they have to be able to trigger this somehow. I haven't found a sniffing device for the drain yet :P

That was not about smart, but about switches. In my case, they are allowed to have an arrow pointing up and down.
