And the German police have some kind of access to the crypto algos of US Amazon? Come on... I'm about to fall off my chair laughing. The German police* are not even capable of significantly "controlling" the dark net or restricting the drug trade on it. Media-effective actions like those against Silk Road don't change that. Anyone wanting facts about Alexa's behavior (keyword: reverse engineering) can/should contact known hacking groups.

PS: Let's assume the police were able to sniff and exploit Alexa traffic and then realize that malicious Alexa recorded information (WITHOUT activation via code word) is being sent home... there would have to be a huge outcry and corresponding measures. After all, we have laws here. Otherwise, the police would be complicit. Since that doesn’t happen... it alone proves: Either the police CANNOT do it OR Amazon doesn’t do it. I am convinced of both.

Where does Amazon have its servers located? You can usually think normally! If one is mistaken and their devices they thought were great aren’t so great anymore, then you become very unobjective. Continue here on your own. The topic is drifting too far off.
