Examples don't help me if there are no square meter numbers included. Is it now about the value of what one's own house including the property brings in as rent?

I just want to exclude that one has several hundred euros monthly based on my above example? There must be an easier way to calculate this, it can't be that complicated if you don't own a house yet and haven't dealt with it?

Who can help me?

It is really totally different and mostly not comprehensible, but it should normally not be more than [1000€] per year.

From Tuesday very gladly the city/municipality.

Have you all otherwise included other incidental costs? Water/sewage/stormwater, chimney sweep, building liability insurance, reserves for the house, etc. etc.

The sqm number plays less of a role. It also depends on the location, purchase price, and so on. A 2000 sqm plot in MP can (and probably will) be cheaper in property tax than one with 500 in NRW.

The valuation method for the standard value is not particularly transparent. Just use search engines and please read up a little yourself.

Again: The standard value is a value converted to DM based on some formula I don’t know, relating to what all that would have cost around 1960. It’s also about what the house cost to build. Here you can make stupid, smarter, or suitably clever statements.......

Best regards Thorsten

As a flat rate, you can assume €2.50 per sqm of living space for operating/additional costs. So, with your 160sqm LS, that means €400. This also includes the property tax. However, due to NRW and the targeted 700-900sqm plot, I would calculate with €2.75. So €440 monthly.

The topic of property tax is actually negligible because you either rent a large apartment/a house and pay the property tax through your additional costs or you own the apartment/house and pay the property tax directly.

For €1,000 p.a. you usually have to own a house, which exceeds the scope of most users here.
