I have now completed the first bills for all consumption costs and am at about €140/month for electricity, gas, and water for 100m².
Garbage comes to €12.5/month for three people.
Property tax: I almost fell over... previously for the 70m² prefab apartment I paid about 80% of what they now want for the single-family house. A joke, honestly. (I mean the ratio – that just doesn’t add up, in my opinion). But I really don’t want to complain, I had feared much worse. Currently, it’s €35/quarter.
Still missing are house insurance (€200/year, I took out even the impact of space debris for fun because I found it so funny) and internet €45/month.
So without reserves and expenses for craftsmen (maintenance or similar) €230/month for 100m².
I also have household insurance, but I see it as a separate item... not as part of the house’s ancillary costs. About €10/month.
For the 70m² apartment it was previously €150. The ratio of ancillary costs per m² has thus held up surprisingly well.

Woah, €150/month for electricity is quite a hefty amount. Don’t you have photovoltaic panels on the roof? Only domestic and heating electricity, or are there other big consumers connected as well?
With gas + electricity, I end up at pretty much exactly €100/month in total.

35€ for a quarter of property tax sounds more like an empty lot without a building

Unbuilt plots are often more expensive than relatively old, small apartments...

We pay a total of 28 € per year in property tax for our undeveloped plot (1,447 sqm) 50 km south of Berlin. I stick to the rule when calculating: 2 - 2.5 € x sqm of the house = additional costs.

Yes, photovoltaics are available and since this month also a storage system. It is comfort and heating electricity because of the heat pump. An electric car is charged which consumes about 40-45€ per month. So it is comparable to you with electricity and gas. But the electricity guzzler was definitely the heat pump from early November to the end of February. What went through there was really nasty and we didn’t even heat the basement anymore.
