thank you for your assessments. I hope that he will still come around or that it turns out that the 800 euros are for fully smart roller shutters that automatically shade from the best aluminum, etc. then one could still consider either taking them or decommissioning them. we'll see. but I have already requested to calculate the removal of the windows.

What are the square meters of the rooms? We currently have kitchen, dining and living room approx. 80 sqm with 2.50 ceiling height. I find that perfectly fine.

If you have not yet been assigned a window position, I fear that with the crediting of the [Gewerks] the next trouble could be looming...

wow, that is significantly more than what we have. I don’t see a problem there. However, our open space is rather narrow (10.5x4m).

yes, I secretly expect that, but he can’t just annoy me so early in the project. Hope dies last...

So, here’s an update as well.
I’ll just quote myself:

The credit was surprisingly high and I was able to get significantly more content for almost the same price through my father-in-law’s former employer.

Now, a different question:
What do you have to pay attention to content-wise for the handover?
My father-in-law said that rough construction dimensions of the openings are mandatory, and smooth finish. Something else?
I’ve already clarified with the general contractor that there will be a construction break until the windows are in and that they will take it over again afterwards. From reading the forgotten connection I’m a bit cautious, so is there a DIN or something else that says which trade has to carry out which work?

Thanks and regards

Planned dimensions are nice, actual dimensions are better. Regarding the quality of the reveal, you should not only ask the installer what he needs, but also the general contractor what he would usually do for his familiar installer. The more these differ from each other, the more carefully you must ensure that it is done "differently" as agreed, if necessary. Prepare yourself to specifically check this at the times of handover yourself (and your construction supervisor).
