That's one with three panes and 2 transparent corners (so it's well visible from 3 sides), right? Are there steel stoves like that, or does it always have to be built in? The heat output is probably not as high as in "normal" wood stoves? ... and? Has it proven itself? With our Nordpeis-Smarty (advertising photo) the pane usually has to be cleaned again after one burn (but it hasn't been drawing well for a year). I find that annoying. Friends of ours clean their wood stove panes much less often ... if at all. Isn't that quite a bit of work with a panoramic stove too?

The glass of the stove - regardless of the design - stays clean during a well-controlled burn with good firewood. Some stoves have a special air circulation to reduce dirt buildup. Use dry wood, do not go below the recommended minimum quantity, start the stove with full air supply and gradually reduce the air supply from the moment everything is burning brightly (described quick and dirty).

Thanks, can be taken as a reference.

Mathematically understandable. When lighting up, a kilogram doesn't burn immediately. With an air volume significantly larger than 300 cubic meters (just a very conservative estimate) of our living space, it shouldn’t make a difference whether a window is open or not for lighting up.

Yes, this is one with 3 panes. It is made of metal; it is a wood stove, so it is not masonry (then you would use an insert and build it into masonry).
We don't always burn ours at full capacity, so the panes do have to be cleaned from time to time. But it's not that much effort.

yes, I know and follow this advice. Whenever I question experts, I get this answer. "It's up to you, not the stove and not the chimney" BUT: We have been using our Nordpeis for 3 years. In the first year, everything worked (more or less) well ... the last 2 years it burns poorly and the glass gets black quickly. If the wood makes the difference (and has been less dry for 2 years), I'm surprised because I can't notice it in the wood ... and I have dealt with wood all my life. Among other things, I make wooden furniture. But we will probably get this stove now: Nordpeis ME Wall ... and then we will see if it burns just as badly with the same wood.

If the behavior of the oven changes, it is obvious to assume that something has also changed on the oven. I would check the supply air and whether there was a special coating for the panes that could possibly be renewed.
