I like concrete, but concrete look can get lost on me.
Ok, I could also agree on purple.
Well ... I would call black and white and everything in between "non-colors" or neutral.
I also find bright blue (like the recycling bins) absolutely terrible in combination with an orange-red roof.
Oh, just take pictures of things like that sometimeI keep noticing with us - the more standard the house, the greater the urge to choose colors or color combinations that force people to give at least a diplomatic "Oh, that's bold" when walking by.
By the way, the original post is based on completely wrong facts. My parents already had black windows (house built 1878). My old house also had the white/anthracite combination. Coincidentally also built in ’78. So: black like ebony has existed for a long time. Anthracite is probably due to production reasons related to plastic windows. The white plaster being the cheapest may be obvious. That’s about the exterior appearance. : all options for smileys, links, text formatting no longer work with Safari iPhone 7 (for 1-2 weeks?)I have noticed that many new houses are built in white-anthracite and that kitchens or bathroom tiles are also chosen in anthracite colors.
