Which staircase did you take?

It holds like a rock. But they are connected to each other. You might see it a bit better here. Otherwise, each step is fixed to the wall with two bolts, and the railing carries the rest of the weight in the middle.

We have the same granite flooring downstairs and upstairs in the hallway. It matches well visually.

There must be a reason why the architect is a fan of granite stairs and in an apartment building no one would think of installing a staircase made of wood. I don't like stairs at all.

In an apartment building, hardly anyone walks around in socks anyway.
The dirt and shoe changing area is only after the staircase there. In a single-family house, it is tendentially before. The demands on the staircase are therefore fundamentally different.

Beech flooring on concrete stairs, hard wax oiled, white wooden risers... There is absolutely NO creaking we have 2 of these stairs. When walking, I hate cold flooring or the feeling of vibrations. Everything firmly glued and to (open stairs in a staircase like ours would mean a dust and dirt rollercoaster into the basement).
