Which shower wall/floor should I take?

Is there special grout for the shower so that neither lime nor iron nor anything else sticks to it?

It's okay :eek:... you can still see something besides the noise.

But I have to tell you: you do have to clean to maintain the value. You can't avoid it! :rolleyes:

Once dirt makes the surface dull, more bacteria settle in.
Eventually, they become visible in color - certainly not if you regularly wipe away the effects of showering.

We are getting XXL tiles on the walls, which are 1 m wide and 2.60 m high. Since our shower is 1 m x 1.70 m, there will be 3 tiles with a maximum of 2 mm joints. We have very hard water, so we always squeegee the shower walls. There will be a shower tray from Bette on the floor. I did not want tiles on the shower floor... We wanted as few joints as possible, so we are getting tiles in the size 1 m x 1 m throughout the whole house.

Why cost issue? You don't have to choose a shower screen for 2000€.

Advantage of glass is that you can replace it more easily later than tiles.

...if the water is very hard, I wouldn't use a glass. But of course it also depends on the bathroom design, whether you then shower with a hose... A plan is missing here after all
