With us, the reed contacts on the window are only closed when the window is also closed. That means if you just pull the window (from the outside) close, the reed contact is still open.
Closed or locked?
But that only works if you explicitly order lock monitoring. If you just order two contacts and open/closed/tilted, then your exact concern can unfortunately come true and you can lock yourself out.
Unfortunately, the thought only occurred to me now, the windows are of course already ordered. *facepalm*
Unfortunately, I can only see "Aerocontrol" in the order. They are all described as lock monitoring by Siegenia. As far as I understand it, if you look at the devices from the manufacturer, it apparently depends on where they are installed in the frame.
Assuming it’s as I fear, can I give a binary input for the reed a blocking function? Maybe via a button or something?
