Which CAD software for the home?

'can cost something' means: priced in the entry-level segment... own demands are equated with professionalism, the expert then has to copy the amateur model. Yes ... only that I mostly model something for 3D printers or use CAD programs in mechanical engineering. I work with "Blender". It is indeed possible to design a house including lighting/3D/render/furniture stuff with it, but way too time-consuming.

But thanks, you all helped me a lot! I finally decide on the Hausplaner 3D from "Die Hausplaner". It basically can do exactly what I need, SketchUp is also good but whatever. #closed

I would ask the desired architect what he uses and then take that.
