Hello
The following question arose during the planning:
I would like to install the Ikea TYDLIG induction hob into a 60cm base cabinet with drawers.
According to Ikea, the Tydlig has a depth of 51mm. The countertop is the Akerby with a thickness of 38mm.
My question now is:
Do I have to use the FA185 for this hob as a 60cm base cabinet with drawers, where the top drawer cannot be opened, or can I also use a standard base cabinet FA112?
According to the Tydlig installation instructions, there must be a gap of at least 5mm between the countertop and the drawer.
Can I somehow create this gap with the top drawer of the FA112 as well?
Unfortunately, I have not found any information about the thickness of the glass plate of the hob anywhere, I estimate about 5mm, right? That would then be 51-38 (countertop)-5=8mm, so the hob would only protrude 8mm into the drawer?
Therefore, I would prefer not to do without the drawer, is that possible?
Best regards
