Problems with installing the Ikea Inreda drawers from Besta

There is still the same problem... The solution of leaving out the screw in the middle does not work for me, as the drawer then tilts forward or backward when pulling out or pushing in. The automatic retraction does not work at all :eek (( Fixing it with a countersunk screw in the middle also did not bring the desired result. Do you happen to have some countersunk screws there?

If yes, swap them with the pan head screws, then everything is fine...

I have done the test with the countersunk screws and also used a countersink for the corresponding "depth". The problem of "scraping on the screws" is thus solved.
The drawer still cannot be properly closed; from halfway it becomes stiff, and the automatic pull-in at the end does not work at all. Without the drawer, everything runs smoothly and easily... I am researching.

by the way - how do I actually open the drawer - without a handle???

If yes, then take them out and go to IKEA. Get your money back or get a voucher. Then you can buy something else right away or wait until the drawers are back in stock. That probably won’t be anytime soon. The item has been completely discontinued. If you do find some at your trusted IKEA, test immediately after purchase whether the drawers are different. Otherwise, you will have the problem again. But the drawers should no longer be on the shelf.

But don’t panic, they will come back.

hello, I am new here and actually wanted to buy Besta with Inreda full extension today and now I am reading about the problems ..but could it be that the problem with the full extension drawers only exists with the 40cm deep drawers? the 49cm deep full extension is still available on IKEA online, while the 40cm full extension no longer seems to be in the program...?!

Do not sell yet, as there seems to be a product defect. Wait a few weeks, then the problem will probably be fixed.
