Hello everyone,

we want wood-aluminum windows for our new building and have obtained some quotes and looked at windows. We noticed that some suppliers use dry glazing, others wet glazing.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods? Which one is better?

Thank you very much!

We will probably have to talk about different profiles, so to speak comparing apples and oranges: dry I can only imagine with glazing beads. Wet probably means silicone nowadays, where putty was used in the past. I hope you have read my contributions on wood-aluminum or wood/aluminum.
