That's true! For 5,000 € I would have a cistern installed directly during the earthworks. Maybe the drilling company was thinking of a brine drilling for the heat pump? With low groundwater, i.e. up to 10m drilling depth, the well with pump and everything else shouldn't cost much more than 1,000 €.Well, a 5m pool takes about 25,000 liters here, we also have a well because it was there before, but even if you fill it 2 or 3 times, that's 600 to maybe 100 euros from the tap... so with 5,000 euros you would need 50 years until it pays off.... but that's a thing. I don't think such a well can really be economically worthwhile.
