Well-invested 50-80€. It would be really bad if the toilet suddenly turns brown and you have to clean behind it constantly.

But it must be done before installation work, as using well water requires a second water circuit, which also has to be paid for.


What do you understand by deep water? Our well starts with its water column at about 6m, the water is almost free of pollutants and minerals (at least as far as iron and the like are concerned, which would ruin the toilets).

In addition, for well water used as toilet water, both a water meter and the wastewater charge are required. It usually doesn’t pay off because you only save on the fresh water!

That's true, but many don't do that so it calculates quickly.

I wouldn't do that either.

By deep water, I meant from about 5 meters - depending on the load from agriculture also higher/deeper.

A real drilling should then also be done because of sand and other solids, which inevitably further contaminate the system.

Until it gets noticed and then there's a big outcry. Then it gets estimated. Not recommended.
