After we visited a specialist dealer again today and somehow nothing fit, I came up with an admittedly unconventional short-term solution: We are really under pressure because we had to cancel the kitchen delivery and are now paying default interest. I believe it is already between 1500 and 2000 euros. The kitchen consists of 4 meters of tall cabinets and an island measuring 2.5m x 1.5m. We could have a row of neutral tiles laid under the tall cabinets along the wall so that the feet of the kitchen still stand on the tiles. We would connect click flooring there – since it is relatively easy to remove again, I could decide relatively quickly and it would be installed quickly. We will have the kitchen delivered and the island will be placed on the click flooring. This way we can continue working on and using the house. After 1-2 years or when the perfect tile appears, the floor is relatively easy to remove and could possibly even be sold cheaply. What do you think? Absolutely crazy idea???
