The quick urge to build a house doesn't quite make sense to me either.

I will finish my electrical engineering studies next year and can practically already estimate my income. The plan is to buy 2 condominiums; one for my parents, one for both of us. My parents would practically pay off the condominium completely themselves with lifelong right of residence. Building the house is planned for early 30s (I am 23 now). In my opinion, by then the family planning will be complete and enough money will have been saved.

My wife is originally from OWL, a small town or larger village. For example, it is common there to get married by the mid-20s, build a house, and have children. To put it bluntly, mostly wealthy farmers with a lot of land live there, so you might just get the plot of land as a gift from your parents or grandmother or grandfather. Building is usually done with combined efforts as well. The safety net is often in the background, and if necessary, the parents help out.

So the clocks just tick differently everywhere. For us, a house under 30 was never a topic.

If you receive financial aid or support for construction, that is completely OK. However, the OP seems to receive neither but still wants to have a house...

What surprises me is why, in a forum that is about building houses, from the inquiries of young people about just that, one immediately draws conclusions about the majority of all young people... There can be many reasons for building a house at a young age: - you would like to live in the countryside and raise your children surrounded by lots of greenery - as a bonus, they can perhaps play relatively unsupervised in the garden, roam the streets, go to friends alone... - you yourself want to enjoy the peace/calm in the countryside and see greater value in that than fighting over the last free seats at the outdoor area in the urban pub district - if public transport connections to the city are good, all the better - maybe the parents live nearby and you can use them in the evenings sometimes... - or, or, or...

Life designs are very diverse and one should not consider one’s own as a model example.. That is sometimes the problem of older generations

Quite simply, because there are many inquiries here from young people who
- are not even working yet, but are just about to finish their studies
- have no equity
- do not even know what the future looks like - it's great if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend in your early/mid 20s and dream - however, the dreams are about a career (in the countryside?) with a high income, a picture-perfect family with children, a great residential location in the countryside but with all the conveniences of the city (public transport, shopping facilities, kindergartens, etc.) ==> much of this will not necessarily work out
- can only afford a house (if at all) by subordinating their "normal" life to the dream of owning a house Property does not necessarily have to mean the big house with the big garden, etc. But that is exactly what is desired in many threads.

The forum is precisely a holistic consultation for all life situations.
Completely neutral answers to a question without personal feelings seem almost impossible.

Then you shouldn't be surprised about the many thread corpses.
