Unfortunately, the developer did not pay attention and installed the outlet of the controlled residential ventilation on the wall where I want to have a sliding door. It is a living room that is open to the kitchen (terraced middle house, living room at the front towards the street, in the middle passageway, kitchen and dining area at the back). Would it be a problem if the ventilation is "covered" in the front room by a wooden sliding door? I assume that the door will not close tightly in front of the ventilation but that there will be a few millimeters of space. The door does not exist yet; it is still in planning.

It won't be that good, you need space so that the air can flow freely from the outlet without making noise.

Thank you! That doesn't sound so good. I don't know if I can put the ventilation somewhere else. Damn.

Um, if the developer (?) messed up, then he should fix it, right?

Well, according to the logic of , noises should be heard at every overflow opening.

Nevertheless, it is the developer's fault and he should fix it.

Yes, it should. But that will probably take another half a century. I would like to install the door soon so that I can start working from home. The door separates the front room from the other parts.
