Toilet window in the guest WC next to the entrance door - is it now a no-go?

But Mr. Dipl. Ing. really speaks to my soul. As a self-confessed hater of noise disturbances from or in the restroom.

However, you have to be willing to afford the solution (setting aside the ability), as rarely anything else is planned. The background of the usual planning has already been mentioned.

I can understand the reluctance of Mr. Engineer, but most of the time it simply fails due to planning limitations. And since the location of the GWC is secondary to me, it just goes where there is space. And not the other way around: first the optimal place for the guest toilet and then planning the house around it.

By the way, in our case, the kitchen window faces the back and the guest toilet window does too. It turned out that way in the planning and that's fine.

With a ventilation system, however, the doors are a bit shorter, so the fart then acoustically creeps under the door.

In general, I see no problem for us with the positioning next to the entrance.

You can do it, but you don't have to. With ventilation systems, you can wonderfully create absolutely soundproof rooms.

Pro tip: place a small radio in the guest bathroom and turn it on beforehand in anticipation of unpleasant background noises.

Almost the same principle as - air freshener in the bathroom: it doesn't remove odors either, it just masks them.

Unfortunately, the problem is not clear to me. In my opinion, the position at the entrance is rather favorable. This is the most distant and quietest place when you have guests who are then milling around in the living room, kitchen, or on the terrace.
