I have the same problem with the parquet; I want to keep the laying direction of the tiles.
I want to give the living room depth, so I lay the parquet from top to bottom, right? Dimensions of the living room: 6.8 m deep and 7.8 m wide! If I stick to that, the tiles in the entrance won’t lie crosswise in front of me, which would be nice with a 3-meter entrance area.
Topic living room: I have 2 terrace doors (2x 2.1 m) facing the garden, and there is a stove in the middle.
Actually, I should lay the parquet crosswise in front of it; that looks good to me. But I want to rather pull the living room, which is 7.8 meters wide, into depth.
Are there professional floor covering planners :)?
