During construction in 2001 - purchase of new build terraced house from the developer: underfloor heating, bolt staircase, additional roof window, different room layout, floor and wall coverings as well as bathrooms, garages, outdoor area attic expansion with another bathroom created or commissioned independently. During construction in 2018/19: construction with architects and self-awarding of trades - no standards as a starting point. In both projects, the principle applied: the more elaborate a later solution becomes, the higher the priority to get this solution right from the beginning.
