we had nothing for the interior doors. That's why I ask: what can you really upgrade so much there?
The standard would have been those basic doors you know from every rental apartment (which I basically don't find terrible but also not notably nice), and now we're getting solid white wooden doors in a country house style, one of them with a glass insert (pane window). Also, one door is made more like an exterior door because it's between the normally heated kitchen and the basement replacement room (without underfloor heating). Visually, it is designed like the other doors... that one, of course, cost the most.
