THE LIST! That should interest every builder.

I seriously need them "more often," at the annual SNES Revival! However, it does hurt me a lot when my children think that the picture looks "broken." I still have a 10m Scart to VGA, can someone use it? It really takes up a lot of space...

Presumably, the cable will last even longer than the TV, which still has SCART today. That must also be at least 10 years old.

Yes. The intention is mainly that utility rooms and storage areas are far too often planned extremely undersized by new builders. The space requirements for technology and equipment are completely underestimated. Some experienced forum members are annoyed to hear for the umpteenth time excuses like "we are different," "we have nothing," and "everything fits into our 3-room apartment anyway," just because the future builder hopelessly neglects space for technology and gear due to the tight budget.

If you argue like that, you haven’t understood the list. These are placeholders, real examples of what it could sound like. For anyone else who does even a little more in their life within 2 generations than sitting in front of the TV waiting for their end.
has shown well that, for example, the red light lamp could also stand for, for example, an inhaler.

Unfortunately, the trend is that people build halls thanks to Instagram, but don’t plan a sufficient storage room.

As already said: a necessity for some, a hobby (-sport) for others.

What "bothers" me about the "consumption crap" is not that it is on the list, but that it is ONE list. In my opinion, homeowners should make TWO lists: what is going with them and what absolutely must go beforehand (because otherwise never!). Besides, I don't think all storage space has to be inside the house. The waiting room between "still part of my life" and "Ebay or recycling center" is, just like the garage, a bit over half a kilometer away from the apartment. That doesn't matter at all; I don't have to sing a lullaby to that stuff every evening.

We have deliberately decided to buy a not so big house. Currently, the four of us have 125m² + attic. But apart from the fact that the desk is in the bedroom due to the lack of a 5th room, it is not too cramped for us. The attic consists of 2/3 old children's toys and children's clothes, which will all disappear during the move. An attic tempts you to accumulate an incredible amount of trash.

The more storage space you have, the more likely you are to forget things or buy items like cleaning cloths, trash bags, craft supplies, or baking items multiple times. We currently have two storage rooms and you wouldn’t believe what we found again while decluttering. We want to avoid that in the future. In the future, we will only have 105m² + 20m² loft (office + storage space), but that should be enough.

When I look at comparable new houses with 140m², there is significantly less storage space there and the hallway or utility room (we don’t have anything like that at all) take up a lot of space.
