I think that such a list always needs two columns: for "what" always a column with "goes where," whereby very important places are not only separate rooms but also "Flohmarkt" or "Wertstoffhof."

The topic of space requirements is very debatable. When we moved in together, we promised each other to first check the usefulness of every item that was to be placed in the storage room/cellar. Usually, it was then determined that we actually no longer needed it, so we have always needed little space. But since things are quite different with children, we still don't know how we want to approach the topic. We would prefer to build openly and without a cellar and use the utility room space for storage. But will that be enough? But fortunately, the topic is not yet finalized.

The more storage space you have, the more likely you are to forget things or buy items like cleaning cloths, garbage bags, craft supplies, or baking stuff multiple times.

Yesterday I decluttered my wardrobes. A large bag accumulated. In the process, I also discovered a pair of pants and two other items that I bought months ago. I hadn’t missed them yet (but I’m glad to have found them before I go shopping again) ... :)

Find the mistake from my perspective. Is this a problem of too much storage space or a lack of overview of what one buys?
