Terrace roofing - finding the right materials and companies

So in case you eventually decide on a square canopy instead of one adapted to the slanting side, I can recommend KD canopy to you. For our new construction project, we have a canopy measuring 3.5m deep and 5m wide, not in RAL 7016 but in DB703. The roof is laminated safety glass (VSG) and has 10 LEDs (once in the middle and once at the very front, each in a row), underneath a sub-roof awning and on one side a side awning (because it’s the west side).
Both awnings as well as the LED strips (switched separately) are on a single remote control (multi-channel). However, we installed the solution for switching the LEDs ourselves or had a friend install it. It was a matter of an hour.
Whether these can also be connected with a wind/sun sensor, I do not know. But since all components are from Somfy and run with the iO radio standard, I assume there are definitely solutions for that.

We are definitely super happy with the solution and in the end, it was not much more expensive than your polycarbonate solution. Our neighbors opted for polycarbonate because of the price and were black angry after installation about how much darker it became in the living room.
The construction is definitely also made of powder-coated aluminum.

We had requested similar solutions from local craftsmen and other companies and were partly priced beyond 20,000 EUR.

According to the KD website, 3 posts are required from 4m.
And how was it installed at your place? I mean the process with the foundation, backfilling, roofing, paving. We need to backfill soon as well.
