if the area doesn't offer any free plots anyway and you automatically? (check!) exit the contract with Allkauf Haus after 4 months, you can probably buy the house now without any worries. you might possibly stretch out the purchase of the property a bit (supply/demand?) to minimize the risk (which is hardly likely to exist). but you should definitely read again very carefully what you signed there. i can hardly imagine that they would just let such a contract (it's about a lot of money) expire so easily. there's certainly a clause somewhere. as already mentioned, such preliminary contracts are only disadvantageous for you. they can just offer you a plot like that and only sell to you if you also build the house there. if none of this feels right to you, you could also consult a specialist lawyer. but the best thing will probably be not to stir things up at all (so contacting Allkauf Haus) and wait it out.
