In my opinion, the exact wording of the contract is important (as already mentioned).

In my view, however, there should be no problems at all. Your provider can certainly make you further offers, which you then reject (I assume no justification is even necessary).

The contract with Allkauf Haus will expire at some point....

In any case, this contract or the procedure sounds very borderline.

Hello everyone, The following situation, my wife and I have been searching for a suitable plot of land for over a year so that we can build a house. Before we decided to build a house, we looked at some existing houses to see if we wanted to buy one. After many viewings, we consciously decided against it. As a result, we eventually ended up with Allkauf Haus, who told us that they have enough plots of land in their portfolio. Currently, they have nothing in our search area, but something occasionally comes up. Subsequently, we signed the house contract with the right of withdrawal reservations (land/financing). We are not in a hurry to build, so we signed a contract in the hope of obtaining a plot of land. Now something has happened that we did not consider possible after our long, unsuccessful search so far: we have now been offered a house with land (privately) that we could buy. We like the house and it fits within our budget. Now the time for the withdrawal reservations has not yet expired. They still have a duration of about four months. If we buy the offered house now, we cannot buy another plot of land, nor can we build another house. Now I have read in various internet posts that if we terminate early, we have to pay damages. Is this really the case? What if we wait to buy until the withdrawal reservations have expired? Do we have to terminate? At the moment, I can’t see the forest for the trees. Best regards Family Grund
