One more nice thing, the glass field can be covered with kitchen paper, pan on the paper, sear steaks, splatters go onto the paper, after frying wipe and away

Life in a new house is often different from before the move. So there was no direct feeling about the stove ;) But only at full power. There will be this upgrade with the next kitchen That no longer happens. ... by the way, I got a cookware set with the kitchen order.

Switching with the penultimate cooktop was an immediate revelation for me, my wife, who doesn’t like dealing with technology, also needed an adjustment from the old induction cooktop to the current one – the "5" is no longer the "5". Switching to electric? Induction is also "electric". What I like is that, when done well, induction in the cooktop with the right cookware is almost as fast as gas. By principle, induction cooktops are audible at higher levels. I have not yet come across one that is completely "buzz-free". As writes: the more magnetic, the more effective. When choosing new cookware, I made sure that not only the bottom is magnetic (which is enough to qualify as "induction compatible"). Especially with "full pots" I warmly welcome heat from the side. We use Silit (excellently coated), LeCreuset (loved because of and despite the weight) and DeBuyer (uncoated iron). We have the Siemens EZ877K2Y1E/01 in use. The cooktop reliably detects the position of the cookware. What's great is that you can simply move the pots and the induction field under the pot moves along. So, for example, you can work easily at the front or regulate the heat by moving the pot instead of operating any buttons. I really like using that; my wife doesn’t care at all.

Induction is great. Much faster, powerful, excellently controllable, more efficient, not as hot after switching off.
There is noise, but honestly it does not matter at all. Downgrade in the B-grade, but I wouldn’t let that stop me.
Bought Neff because of this twist pad, fully touch is super annoying – also with Bora.

this is our second induction hob, chosen above based on experience

Induction is the new gas :) Has many advantages of the gas stove, combined with electric. Touch takes some getting used to, but you can learn it too ;)

At the moment, I sometimes put the kitchen paper next to it and have to be careful that it doesn’t burn.. :D

Our kitchen studio also included one, I think it’s supposed to be a set from Johann Lafer, I have to check how good it is.

I didn’t find that cooktop.. We are getting the EZ977KZY1E and it’s supposed to recognize the position of the pot as well, but whether you can also control the heat by moving the pot, I can’t quite remember anymore :)

Our kitchen studio delivers and installs the kitchen with their own staff. For the “handover” of the kitchen, we will also get an introduction to the appliances, they will surely show us the details then.

With my current cooktop, I always start sautéing things while I am still chopping other stuff on the side. I once read that with induction the temperature changes so fast that it’s best to finish the chopping first and then start cooking. Can you confirm that?
