Both! We have the central switch for everyone in the room at the door. Then, the individual switch at the windows. In the entrance hallway, there is the central switch for all the windows of the entire house. Ha!

Of course, you can also build all the walls full of switches.
Unfortunately, we don't have an app because the RTS system from Somfy is installed. But I can live with that.
It will probably come down to a switch at the door for us. Possibly also one at each of the two double windows in the living room, so that they can be controlled separately.
As far as I know, the TaHoma Box from Somfy works with both io and RTS products, so app control would also be possible. Just inquire at Somfy or a specialist dealer.

Oh, I thought RTS was more of the cheaper and older version. But good to know, maybe one can upgrade that way. For now, the simple control is enough for me.
We don't have any switches for that at all. You either control it through an app or by long-pressing a light switch next to the door. So long press upwards, all blinds down, etc. But in 90% of cases, it is regulated automatically anyway.
