Hello,
I urgently need support regarding the condition of the house and to what extent the price can be considered acceptable!
I could immediately buy a complete house, yard, and garden with 350 sqm for only €20,000.00, but I do not know if the price is reasonable, as the following defects caught my attention during the first house viewing:
Firstly:
Support beams, girders, and posts were partly placed under the roof beams, poor condition of the roof substructure wooden construction, partly leaking roof at the chimney!
Secondly:
In the basement (the house is partially basemented), supports, support beams, and girders have been installed!
Thirdly:
No heating – no hot water – heating is only possible with a wood-coal stove!
Fourthly:
In the barn, there is a pile of dirt, trash, sofa elements, couch, stripped kitchen stoves, and various bulky waste as well as a completely rotten caravan in the yard, etc.
Windows with double glazing and the front door were installed over 10 years ago and are still in good condition. The house was built around 1700 – therefore the walls are up to 1 meter thick and surprisingly the entire house masonry and cellar are dry.
What do you think – is €20,000.00 reasonable or is the whole thing too risky…?
Thank you very much in advance for your help
Best regards
