No, next to the dressing room. Everything is also ventilated. You can also hang the clothes there and the dryer is there as well.

Show me how that should work on 160 sqm …. We even have 180 I think but with 2 children's rooms there really was no more space for a utility room on the upper floor.

... here is a floor plan that I once found somewhere:
Even only 139 sqm

And then one from me with 140 sqm ... the dressing room on the upper floor can also be a utility room.

Option 1: only works with a straight staircase and a square house, and I also don’t want the washing machine directly next to the children's room because I do laundry in the evening when the child is sleeping Option 2: And where will the dressing room go then? It's probably all a matter of priority and process. For example, I never hang laundry outside, so my process is different. And for me, the utility room, bathroom 1, and dressing room are also above each other; if that is not given, it makes little sense.

It was not about highly sophisticated examples that exactly match your style, but rather examples that show that you don’t need 180 sqm of living space to create a useful utility room on the upper floor. Especially if you don’t hang laundry outside anyway, it makes even more sense to do the laundry on the floor where the dirty laundry accumulates and the clean laundry is to be stored again.

By the way, example 2 allows for a 350 cm wardrobe in the master bedroom, and there is certainly enough space in the "Ankleide=Hauswirtschaftsraum-Raum" for general laundry such as bed linen, towels, etc.

I'll send you my floor plan and then you can tell me where a utility room should go. I can also leave out a kids' room and then it will fit (-: That it fits with Rick, however, doesn't surprise me (-:
