That will come for parts of the population. I am relatively sure about that. Not tomorrow and not the day after tomorrow, but it will come. Just like the failed insurance coverage for the heart surgery because one smoked too much and walked too little in the year before the infarction.

But every ‘smart’ is only as good as the data it is ‘fed’ with.

The efficiency of a house can be greatly increased with smart and intelligent platform- and application-spanning controls. The technology is absolutely sensible and proven. It’s not just enriched with gimmicks for home use, but also found in offices and other commercial buildings. There it is indispensable and the benefit is high.

I have no desire to deal with it at home and no desire to contact a service provider. What I get in return is simply not worth it to me.

Because it drives 70 - 80 thousand kilometers every year (at least for me currently due to work)

That’s true if you deal with the technology. If not, many moments of perceived helplessness can occur.

ECM Technika IV.

That’s true. We are switching the fleet at my client to Tesla and developing a mobility concept for employees with e-bikes, public transport cards, and Twizzys. By the way, the Tesla 3 in the fleet is cheaper than a Golf diesel (TCO). Inconsistently, I still drive a diesel as my daily work vehicle. Probably for another two years. Maybe by then there will be an electric vehicle that appeals to me as a complete package. The drive train is also superior to a diesel with 700Nm torque, charging is uncomplicated and fast with Tesla and the superior charging infrastructure. Unfortunately, Tesla is ruled out for me because of haptics and looks.

What exactly is the name of the specific car?
Maybe Tesla isn't out of the question for me because of haptics and looks? :D

Just searched ... I want a tradesman's vehicle
They don't have a station wagon at all?
Then it's out for me due to lack of space.

what kind of range do they usually need? I mean: they are out for a working day and don’t have to recharge in between?
