I have already understood the essence ;), but deliberately only responded in general that you will definitely get a nice little house. The following posts explained it more specifically.

I don't want to scare you, but a land-use planning procedure that started in 2009 is still not finished for me... But it's Berlin, that's notoriously slow

Are you suggesting that one can build more than once in life? A house to understand how it works and then one the way you really want it? ;)

Didn't you actually need three houses for that? One for the enemy, one for the friend, and then you've got it figured out.. ;)

Hello , after living in the city, do you even have the time and desire to manage 1500 sqm? Family experience shows that we spend 2-4 hours daily working in the garden. Don’t you have older relatives with whom you could share the property along with your house? That would make gardening easier for the older ones and the area wouldn’t be so huge for you.

I think the budget is more than enough for what you have planned. We originally calculated with a rate of about €2000 but earn about €1500 less than you and won't get such big salary increases either. We are even currently considering and calculating whether we might manage a rate of €2500. Assuming that, you could afford a rate of about €3500 - €4000 with our expenses. Of course, it's all a bit difficult to calculate, but even with a high standard of living, I see a €3000 rate as very doable for you, so my tip is: treat yourselves. :D
