Hello,
we have discussed your suggestions again.
We will ask the architect if the garage can be moved one meter forward. Yvonne, is one meter reasonable? Accordingly, the bathroom can then be enlarged by up to 4.5 sqm, is this size reasonable? Or is less enough so that not so much has to be taken from the children's room?
In addition, we will discuss the enlargement of the master bedroom with the architect. Regarding the closet in the master bedroom, we would also prefer it to be three meters long. However, it is not yet quite clear to us where the fireplace should go then.
Yvonne, Manu and others who might have suggestions for the ground floor: What specifically, besides removing the pantry, access to the kitchen from the hallway, door position of the storage room, and possibly sliding doors for terrace access, can still be improved? What specifically does not fit in the layout of the ground floor? It would indeed be an option to move the office to the basement. And what would you do with the room on the ground floor then?
We would also find it great if the windows in the northwest were as large as those in the southwest. This can be achieved if the wall between the living room and (currently) the office runs under the ridge, which reduces the size of the living room. What do you think about that?
Kbt, we will ask the architect about the height of the stair steps.
