Should a hanging plot be filled for a ground slab?

Sometimes I think you don’t read everything. Weren’t we already at this point: partial utility basement? So partial basement below, on the valley side, with a side-accessed adjoining room. Even in a utility basement you can have a toilet and a shower. And of course you are allowed to put a cozy sofa bed, reading chair, etc. in a storage room, even on a nice carpet. When I stay overnight with friends, I’ve never checked whether the guest room is also called that in the building permit plans. Or even looked behind the wallpaper to see if the plaster is Q4 or measured the room height of 240 cm. I think you’re overthinking this little basement construction too much, just chill. No police will come at night and ring your visitors out of bed if they’re sleeping in the “storage room.”

Unfortunately, a lot is in the other thread… Is that called a wardrobe? That is tight. I’m surprised that you have such a house with gigantic window area in mind (other thread) Phew, hillside houses ALWAYS with an architect! Me too. I hope that no more threads will be created.

Just because construction costs rise does not automatically mean an increase in the value of existing buildings. I actually just wanted to ask here if you have thought all this through. You are building for old age? Then why this steep slope? Were there no level plots, or does the house have an elevator? But the view is of course absolutely stunning!

Yes, but the combination of a slope, low budget, and retirement home is quite far from ideal. And 19% is not just a slight slope, that's steeper than most Alpine passes.

19% is flatter than half of my garden. I would be glad if I only had 19%. Ideal rarely exists in construction. The OP has set a goal. To build debt-free, in that location, age-appropriate. It is not entirely impossible, it is just not easy.
