The choice of doors depends on the requirements and demands, not on the floor. Therefore, it makes little sense to install the same type of door everywhere. Do you make music in the basement -> [Schallschutztüre]. Do you carry a lot in and out --> pay attention to robustness. Do you want to store valuables securely while absent --> load-bearing walls and a heavy steel door. Does the door leaf disturb the room --> [Schiebetüre]. ... I would not judge something like this generally from a distance. We have 5 interior doors throughout the entire house, one glass sliding door, one glass hinged door, one wooden door, and 2 identical white doors.

Wow!! We are getting 18 doors. How can you manage with just 5 doors???
No wonder the additional cost here alone is higher than our total price per door. We seem to have too many doors....

18 is actually a lot, but I find five too few again. I will have nine interior doors. It will most likely also cost under 300 per door - except for the double-leaf living room door with glass insert. That one costs more like 500-600.

Upppsss........we also have exactly 5 interior doors

No, you have as many as you need for yourself, I think. For example, it also makes a difference what family composition I am building a house for, with a basement, etc.

We live four people in the house:

    [*
2 apartments for the boys (2 interior doors, 5 exterior doors) each with
      [LIST]
[*]1 interior door to the bathroom (Data about the sleeping gallery)
      [*]1 front door
      [*]1 terrace door
[*]one apartment also has a door by the kitchenette, which is used as an exit.

[*]Our area (3 interior doors, 7 exterior doors)

[*]Front door to the multifunctional entrance (wardrobe, hallway, and laundry room in one)
[*]1 door to the guest WC
      [*]1 terrace door
[*]1 door to the living room (with L-shaped gallery, a real all-purpose room, where you also sleep upstairs)
[*]2 glass folding walls to the terrace
[*]1 terrace door from the kitchen area
[*]1 terrace door upstairs (ground-level exit because of the hillside location)
[*]1 door to the bathroom (upstairs)
[*]1 terrace door from the bathroom (ground-level exit because of the hillside location)

[*]House connection room (1 exterior door)

[*]1 door from the garden at the basement level

makes 5 interior doors and 13 exterior doors. Sounds strange, but it is excellent to live in. We love it when outside and inside blend harmoniously.

Yes, the basement for example has 4 doors in our case.
Heating room, workshop, hobby room, storage room.
That's probably not so unusual.

On the ground floor we will have far above average many doors, because we are building old-fashioned with a vestibule and kitchen, so there will be
- vestibule door
- kitchen - hallway
- kitchen - pantry
- kitchen - dining room
- double-leaf hallway - living room

By the way, we will not use the same doors in the basement.
My parents also have less expensive doors in the basement and I never really noticed it until we explicitly talked about it now with regard to the house construction!

But as others have already written, it naturally depends on the usage.
For me the extreme case would be an office with customer contact in the basement, in that case I would use the same doors.
