I am absolutely confused about the context of Frankfurt and quality of life. To what extent does Frankfurt offer quality of life that you can’t find better in other cities when speaking of
qualitative life? I myself have never lived in Frankfurt, but I think you have to think more in terms of big city and small town. And in my opinion, other big cities offer more quality. When I think of "international," I think more of Hamburg or Berlin when it comes to life and not banking business. International life mostly takes place centrally, but who finds quality of life centrally in Frankfurt? Show me a study where Frankfurt is named among the top 10 cities in Germany in terms of quality of life (which also includes adequate housing)?
International was meant in reference to shopping, restaurants, etc.
Strolling, as mentioned here, can certainly be nicer on the Ku’damm or at the Alster than in the metropolis F - with many international opportunities. Chinese restaurants and the Bosnian came to Germany back in the 80s and can also be found in small towns. The mindset irritates me. International schools are mentioned. There are no children yet. Okay, but international schools are not linked to the big city.
A very small place is simply nothing for me.
Just delete
very small, then you only have
place standing there.
However, this also stuck with me:
Unfortunately, I am professionally limited to only a few cities worldwide, and of those, Frankfurt happens to have one of the best qualities of life, and also good schools. Therefore very attractive!
Which cities are still in question? Frankfurt apparently only refers to the few cities - which would those be?
Why I have to laugh: the self-image does not at all match the wishes portrayed here. Between the lines, all sorts of (pre-)judgments flash. Together with the almost childlike questioning about how the situation around Frankfurt is.
Yes, I also read only clichés.
Basically, congratulations on the brilliant equity, but apparently for F and surroundings it’s just a small fart, so not worth mentioning. And the start of the thread and the appearance here also quickly "relativized" ;)
I would try to "buy in" somewhere else where quality of life is offered to me through better air and a quieter atmosphere. As already said: multi-culti is also available elsewhere, and in style. I only know green Hamburg, but I know that in the northern regions (very tight commuter belt) there are already nice, really nice houses, not comparable with the Immonet offer of your link. Or take Copenhagen if it should be international... so: the few cities that are up for selection really interest me.
