Has anyone implemented anything yet?

Currently, there is an offer from Nuki. I know it is loud, but the price is good.

Have you made any progress with the topic?

Now I have ordered the GOLIATH video intercom system with fingerprint and RFID and set it up for testing. I think this will definitely be the one and I can install it myself. Both the indoor and outdoor stations look high-quality and work well. In case of defects, individual modules can also be easily replaced.

At the same time, I have had an offer made for the Mediator from Assa Abloy. The offer is not final yet, but it will likely end up around €2300-2500 including installation and is of course quite heavy on the budget.

However, the Mediator combines everything I imagine:
- always properly locked for insurance
- Still openable with a key in case of power failure or malfunction in the access control
- controllable via fingerprint/RFID
- no loud locking noises
etc.

The Goliath system is now installed. The intercom system works. The switching of the security module with RFID and fingerprint also works. Now only the connection to the door is missing.

For this, I have obtained another offer for retrofitting an automatic lock directly in the door. Contrary to my expectation, it is significantly cheaper than the Mediator.

By the way, your Goliath is exactly identical to my system ;) . The manufacturer of the system itself is Dahua (China), I got my system through the importer Turm. For that, I have the current OEM firmware updates from this year (which I would of course pass on for free). If needed, PM me ... However, I'm not sure how Goliath handles the warranty ...

I know. But Dahua was too tricky for me because of all the configuration. With Goliath, everything was already preconfigured. Firmware is apparently up to date. We are still considering whether to install another Dahua indoor station on the upper floor (my wife is now doing a lot of home office) or whether to use the app on the phone or a cheap tablet there. I need to take a closer look at the functionality and speed of the apps (there seem to be several) in the next few days. Ideally, it shouldn’t take 4 more clicks before a picture finally appears. Which automatic lock do you have?

The Dahua configuration was really no fun at first, but we figured it out. Also, I now have the technician's mobile number ;). He can remotely connect if necessary and fix whatever isn't okay (one of the two systems had a 0.00 firmware, so very old firmware and issues with control, which he completely fixed).

Of course, we also chose Dahua because of the price (less than 50% of the Goliath in equity).

In the app (DMSS), the camera's image is directly on the start page. However, then I need three clicks to open the door. The motor is called "Autotronic," installed in a Köster aluminum front door.
