With RFID, you have the problem again that you have to carry a transmitter with you. It should definitely be something with fingerprint or code to not always be dependent on keys,...
In principle, I should actually install a motorized lock, whether fingerprint, code, or RFID, right? The alternative is the electric opener, which is questionable from an insurance perspective.
We have also installed the Visortech lock with chip and PIN from Pearl. Advantage for us, the parcel courier gets their own PIN in the delivery authorization and is allowed to leave their package in the garage.
Since you have concerns about the electric opener, I would recommend the GU-Secury lock with A-opener.
It is not as expensive as a "usual" motor lock but does exactly what you need. It opens electrically and mechanically locks after the door has closed. For insurance purposes, the door is then considered locked.
And for opening the lock, as mentioned, an RFID+code solution.
