Since none of this seems to be the real deal without spending several hundred euros, I'll probably just set up a camping SAT system for the duration of the World Cup and then depending on the lighting conditions either run the projector or set up my second TV (40 inches)... I have also read something about Wireless HDMI now... but it won't work through the wall.. too bad...

What speaks against 50m coax cable with F connectors on each end? One side into an antenna socket, out through a window to the outside, and then laid to the carport.

Simple and inexpensive!

It's a mystery to me as well. I've been talking about this since #2

Or directly from the dish the cable down to the carport. As it looks, it is supposed to be just a temporary thing anyway.

You can even skip the socket. Depending on which LNB is installed, the investment costs are about 30-35 euros for cables, connectors, and possibly the LNB.

It actually shouldn’t be a temporary thing... I would really like to have the connection permanently in the carport. Of course, I want to spend as little time as possible on any potential setup.

For that, I could, for example, attach a dish to my garden shed... but then I would have to pull about 35 meters of coaxial cable forward... preferably underground - which is a lot of effort.

Just running the cable over the yard and/or climbing onto the roof to get to the keys (through the skylight / see my avatar) would work. But after the 2nd or 3rd time, it also gets annoying...

Therefore, I would have liked a different solution with a permanent signal. That’s why I wanted to include some experiences from other people. Experiences, for example, with DVB-T or things like Wireless HDMI... but that doesn’t work for us either.

Since all variants so far are not particularly neat, installing a camping satellite system with a stand for about 50 euros (cable, etc., all included) would be the simplest option... I could just leave this standing until the washing machine is done... that would then be the temporary quick solution for the washing machine.

You could also try a radio transmission system. For example, Conrad offers some and also technical explanations about them. But you’ll have to invest around 100-200€… depending on the model.

The idea is good. But why are you making such a drama about the sat cable? Then just open a window for the game and pull the cable from your indoor connection to the outside, and after the game, unscrew it and leave it in front of the window. It costs nothing except a few minutes to connect...
